“Wonderfull place with hosts who made their best to make me feel at home. Situated in an old static building in a green area Diner was great. Italian, homemade breakfast. Welcome Drink at arrival. Absolutelly great value for money.”
“What a beautiful, authentic and relaxing place to stay. We were en route from Puglia to Toscana and stayed overnight. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner prepared with mostly local ingredients; pasta, mushrooms, sausage, cheeses and fresh vegetables, all from within a few miles of the house, with a glass of local Amaro at the end. The house itself, from the 18th century, once belonged to to the archbishop of Rome. We had the large room on the loft, which easily accommodates a family of four. Just keep in mind the low, slanted ceiling. My only advise to the host is to a) replace the bathtub with an enclosed shower, as showering in the open tub under the low ceiling requires considerable acrobatics and results in a very wet floor; and b) offer more than just sweets for breakfast, such as, for example, eggs, cheese, cold cuts and tomatoes. Aside from those minor gripes, we had a great time and can heartily recommend Dimora Marella.”
“Egi and Martha treated us with true Italian hospitality! The entire experience of staying at Dimora Marella was surreal! Our room Was clean and spacious and the location was perfect! Traditional Italian breakfast was delicious! They even had Easter bread on the spread! Thank you for going above and beyond to make our Italy vacation spectacular!!”
“Not enough words to describe how wonderful this place is. Egi, the owner, made us feel like at home. The building is antique and has so much character. The rooms are very comfortable and the food + service are just amazing. I highly recommend it!”
“Perfect location for a vacation away from city noise, you are fully immersed in nature. Ideal for families with small children - swimming pool is great! The restaurant has delicious authentic Italian cuisine at very affordable prices. The manager is very welcoming.”
“How to fall in love with Italy? Stay in this lovely residence and experience the countryside life. The hosts are charming and work tirelessly to make it an amazing experience. The rooms are eloquent and quiet, the dinner they prepared (as well as the breakfast) was delicious and served in a wonderful setting. There is a lovely pool and the entire house is open to use, fireplace and all. It’s located on a hilltop and offers nice views and the 1800 villa is a charming setting in the middle. We wish we stayed longer …”
